Editorial Policy
This page explains how TradingDots content is researched, written, checked and updated. It applies to every article on the site.
1. Who writes our content
Articles are published by the TradingDots Editorial team. We do not use invented author personas. When an article is written or reviewed by a named contributor, their name and relevant background are shown on the article.
2. Sources
We base our articles on primary and reputable sources, in this order of preference:
- Official documentation and protocol specifications (for example the Bitcoin whitepaper, Ethereum.org).
- Regulators and public bodies (SEC, ESMA, FCA, central banks, tax authorities).
- Company filings, exchange data and official announcements.
- Established financial media and peer-reviewed research.
Key sources are linked inside each article or listed at the end. Prices and market data are given with a date, because they change.
3. Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with research, outlining and drafting. AI output is never published as-is: facts, numbers, dates and claims are verified against the sources above, and articles are edited for accuracy, clarity and usefulness before publication.
4. Independence and advertising
Our editorial content is not for sale. Advertising and sponsored placements, if any, are clearly labelled and do not influence what we write. We may use affiliate links; when we do, it is disclosed on the page and it never changes our assessment.
5. No financial advice
Our content is educational. It is not personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice. See the Financial Disclaimer.
6. Updates and corrections
Evergreen guides are reviewed regularly and show the date they were last updated. If we find or are told about an error, we correct it and, where the change is material, note it in the article.
To report an error, email info@tradingdots.com with the article link and what you believe is wrong.
