Hugo Boss beats Q1 revenue forecasts, confirms 2025 outlook

Hugo Boss has started 2025 on a strong note, reporting €999 million in revenue for the first quarter, thus beating analysts’ expectations although revenues slightly fell from €1.01 billion in Q1 2024.

The German fashion brand, noted for its premium menswear and increasingly important casualwear segments, reiterated its full-year guidance, suggesting resiliency amid a turbulent European retail environment.

The figure came in above the €974 million forecast from analysts surveyed in a company-provided poll. While not a massive beat, it suggests underlying strength in key markets and product segments.

The company didn’t provide detailed commentary in the initial release, but the upbeat results come as competitors in the luxury space are grappling with shifting consumer demandtariff impacts, and currency headwinds in global markets.

The euro’s current exchange rate — around $1 = €0.8836 — also played a role in currency-adjusted comparisons.

Hugo Boss is expected to provide additional color on regional performance and e-commerce momentum in its upcoming earnings call.
