Bitcoin, Ethereum Lead Crypto Market Pullback Amid Resistance Pressure

Major cryptocurrencies faced renewed selling pressure on April 10, as Bitcoin and Ethereum failed to break through key resistance levels, triggering a broader market correction. Analysts noted that technical indicators suggest a short-term consolidation phase for many top assets, with traders exercising caution after recent gains.

According to market analysts, Bitcoin dipped after struggling to stay above the $72,000 resistance zone, a level it has tested multiple times without a confirmed breakout. Momentum indicators suggest weakening bullish strength, with traders watching for support around $68,000 to determine whether the trend remains intact or shifts downward.

Ethereum mirrored Bitcoin’s pattern, failing to maintain momentum above the $3,600 resistance level. As reported by technical strategists, Ethereum’s inability to establish a higher high may indicate a potential drop toward the $3,250–$3,400 range if selling pressure intensifies.

Other leading altcoins also saw declines. Binance Coin (BNB) reversed near $600, a level identified as a major barrier for further upside. Solana (SOL) continued its range-bound movement below $200, lacking strong bullish catalysts. Meanwhile, XRP hovered below $0.70, facing resistance near $0.74, and Dogecoin (DOGE) slipped after failing to sustain its recent rally.

Additional losses were observed in TON, Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX), and Shiba Inu (SHIB), all of which showed signs of downward pressure following unsuccessful attempts to breach key resistance levels. Traders are now closely monitoring whether these assets can hold above immediate support zones to prevent further declines.

While the overall sentiment in the crypto market remains cautiously optimistic, analysts warn that continued failure to surpass resistance levels could signal a deeper pullback, especially if broader macroeconomic factors—such as inflation data or regulatory developments—add further pressure.
